Q: What is 12V LiFePO4 lithium battery?
A: 12V LiFePO4 lithium battery is a rechargeable battery made of advanced lithium iron phosphate material with an operating voltage of 12 volts (rated voltage 12.8V). These deep cycle batteries are commonly used in a variety of applications, including but not limited to electric golf carts, marine, RV, solar systems, etc. Compared with traditional lead-acid batteries, they have multiple advantages such as green and non-toxic, higher energy density, longer service life, lighter weight and faster charging time.
Q: Can these 12V battery be used as a cold cranking battery/ starter battery?
A: No, Enjoybot offers 12V deep cycle batteries, our battery is not designed for starting engines, it can not be used as a cranking battery due to the BMS setting.
Q: How many batteries can I connect in series and parallel?
A: Our latest updated 12V 100Ah LiFePO4 Battery with Low-Temp Protection can be configured up to 6S4P (6 series and 4 parallel). Other 12V batteries can be configured up to 4S4P (4 series and 4 parallel).
Q: Can your battery be connected in series and parallel with other brands of batteries?
A: Due to the different manufacturers of battery parts and accessories, we do not recommend connecting the battery in series and parallel with other brands, which will affect battery function and also affect your product warranty.
Even if it is the same brand, If the purchase interval is more than 4 months, it is also not recommended to connect. Because the energy decay between the cells is not consistent.
Q: How do I charge my 12V Lithium Battery?
A: To charge 12V deep cycle batteries, use a charger designed for lithium batteries. The recommended charging voltage range is: 14.2V-14.6V.
If you connect 12V batteries in series to get a higher voltage, please select the corresponding specifications to charge the battery pack.
Q: What are the functions of the built-in BMS system of the battery pack?
A: Overcharge Protection, Over-discharge Protection, Overload Protection, High/Low Temperature Protection, Short-circuit Protection, Battery Cell Balance.
Q: Is it OK to charge 12V LiFePO4 Lithium batteries to 100%?
A: Yes, Enjoybot LiFePO4 batteries can be charged to 100%. LiFePO4 batteries are designed to handle full charges without significant risk of damage. However, for optimal longevity, it’s often recommended to keep the battery's SOC between 20% and 80% for regular use.
Q: How long will a 12v lithium battery last?
A: Enjoybot lithium batteries can last up to 10 years. In terms of discharging cycles, the latest lithium batteries can support 4,000+ cycles @ 100% DOD (Deeth of Discharge), and up to 6,000 charges under ideal conditions.
