QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Ask a Question-
I have a 72 volt cart. How much would 6 12 volt batteries? With shipping to Mobile, AL 36619
Hello, sorry that Enjoybot batteries can only support configurations with a maximum voltage of 48V. They cannot work for 72V golf carts.
-
I have a 2016 EZGO RXV which has a 3.3 KW motor. Will the 48V kit work with this cart? I don't believe it will, but want to confirm. Thanks,
Hi Sir, thanks for your inquiry.
Our battery's maximum power is 3000 wattes, and the maximum current is 250A.
So our battery can not match with your 3300W motor. -
What charger would you recommend for use with a 48v ezgo?
We recommend purchasing a new LiFePO4 charger that is specifically designed for our batteries. Our batteries are a different voltage than standard golf cart batteries, so it is important to use a charger that is designed for the correct voltage.
👉For 48V batteries, please use 58.4V LiFePO4 battery charger. -
Can I use my lead acid charger on your batteries and also would my battery gauge work on my star ev
Hi Sir, thanks for your inquiry.
No, you can't use the lead acid charger to charge LiFePO4 batteries, because this will lead to shorten LiFePO4 batteries' lifespan or damaged them. -
Can I use my lead acid battery charger and if I had a problem with a battery how would I return it and also would my battery gauge work work on my star ev
Hi Sir, thanks for your inquiry.
No, you can't use the lead-acid charger to charge LiFePO4 batteries, you can use the LiFePO4 battery charger or the charger that has a lithium option.
If you use the lead acid battery charger to charge LiFePO4 batteries, this will lead to shorten their lifespan or be damaged.
For the question of return, we support it. But we won't support the return that batteries are damaged by the buyers' wrong operation, such as using our battery to a starting battery, or using in a system that exceeds our battery power range.
Additionally, you can use your battery gauge on your system. -
I have a 2001 48V club car DS and up graded to 500 Amp Controller, 500 Amp solenoid and a high speed high Torque Motor. What Lithium Battery or Batteries would you suggest?
Hi Sir, thanks for your inquiry.
Your 500A controller's power is too large to match our batteries, unless you install a conversion kit on your club car, like this customer did
(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vk7BicBoYbw&t=255s).
Additionally, our single 48V 500A LiFePO4 batteries will be launch on May. -
If I'm running 4 12 volt batteries in series for golf cart do I need special 48 volt charger or will 10 Amp 12volt charger you sell work
Hi Sir, thanks for your inquiry.
Yes, you can wire 4 12V of our batteries in series for getting 48V, and the 10A 12V charger can also charge these batteries, but you have to wire batteries in parallel when you charge these batteries.
If you prefer a faster charger or you would like to charge batteries directly in series, you can choose a 48V 50A charger that will directly charge your 48V batteries. -
Will my on board charger work with these batteries eagle performance series 48v 15amp
Hi Sir, thanks for your inquiry.
You have to make sure if your charger have a lithium option, and the charger's voltage is match these batteries' voltage.
For example, if you use LiFePO4 batteries, you have to use LiFePO4 charger or the charger have a lithium option.
If your battery is a single 48V, you have to use 48V charger to charge.
If you have 4 12V batteries in series for getting 48V, then you can also use 14.6V lithium charger to match them, but you need to make them in parallel before charge them.
If you prefer to charge them in series, you will need use 48V charger to match them. -
Will these work in a advanced EV 48v 2021 cart
Hi Sir, thanks for your inquiry.
Does your golf cart's model Coral 2021 Advanced EV 2+2?
If so, our batteries can not match your golf cart's motor and controller.
Our batteries' power is 3000W, and the maximum current is 250A.
However, we searched for your golf cart model online, and the motor power of this model is 4000W, the controller current is AC 350A.
Your golf cart's power and current are too large to match our batteries. -
2009 ezgo rxv 2five can't find out the watts on my motor. Do you know?
You can find the ratings for your motor and controller by looking in your manual or by contacting your local Ezgo dealer.
-
if your motor is 3-3 kw and controller is 230 amps will you need to upgrade the batteries.
Hi Sir, thanks for your inquiry.
You can upgrade your batteries to LiFePO4, unfortunately, our LiFePO4 batteries can not match your motor.
Because our batteries' power is 3000W, the maximum current is 250A. However, your motor's power is 3300W, this is exceeding our batteries' max power. -
Why is the wattage important? I have a 3300 watt motor.........and not sure about the controller.
Hi friends, controller over 250A and motor over 3000 watt may trigger the battery BMS overcurrent protection when climbing the hill or at full load.
-
Looking to use as replacement for club car precedent 2015. Is it possible? If so I will Use 12v 100ah (4). Do I place in series or parallel and what are my charger options. Can I just Connect my lights and horn as they are today to my 6 8volt lead batteries?
Hi Sir, thanks for your inquiry.
We tried to search for your golf cart's model online, but we haven't found these parameters of your golf cart.
Can you please show us about your motor's power and the controller's current?
Our batteries power is 3000W, the maximum current is 250A. If your motor's power is limited to 3000W, and the controller's current is less 300A, then that will match our batteries perfectly. -
I have an 2021 Icon 6 Seater, 48 Volt Golf Kart, will these work and if so what else needs to be changed ?
If your golf cart meets the following parameter, you can safely use enjoybot 48v 100ah battery pack.
1. Torque motor less than 3000 watt.
2. Maximum Current of the controller does not exceed 250 amp. -
I’m using them in a golf cart should I use them in series or parallel
Please connect them in series.
Four 12-volt 100 amp hour batteries wired in series can provide 48 volts at 100 amp hours (12 volt x 4). -
